This non-credit interactive course is intended to prepare students for university level math courses. Some of the main topics studied in this course are mathematical functions, trigonometry, and an introduction to limits.This online course uses Moodle and Collaborate (a microphone and speakers or headset is required) and features 12 lessons, video lectures, supplementary materials as well as guidance and feedback from the instructor. This is a great opportunity to prepare for successful participation in university math courses, from the convenience of your home, and with flexibility for your schedule.

Students wishing to have St. Francis Xavier University recognize this course as satisfying the prerequisite of a pre-calculus course must complete the course (course work plus exam) with a final grade of 65% or higher.
University Prep courses are non-credit courses. It is the responsibility of each student to verify that any StFX University Preparatory course in which they enrol will be recognized by post-secondary institution outside of StFX.
This course is delivered online via Moodle.
Students should plan to take approximately 30 hours to complete this course at your own pace.
Students will retain access to the course Moodle page for 60 days post completion. Students who are not active in the course for 90 days are considered to have completed what they plan to complete and will be removed from the course Moodle page.
