(Fall CRN 61452) This course provides students with the key skills needed to succeed at university. You will learn how to write argumentatively; how to build a question or problem from a close-reading of a literary work; how to develop that argument by presenting and analyzing evidence; how to engage in scholarly debate; how to do university-level research. Credit will be granted for only one of ENGL 111, 100 or 110. No prerequisites required to take this course. Three credits.

Step 2: Follow the prompts after you complete the above step. When you get to the step that asks for your “Planned Course of Study”, select “Non-Degree” in the drop-down menu.
Step 3: Fill out a Letter of Permission (LOP) form from your Home Institution (contact your university's Registrar's Office)
Step 4: Ensure the desired course works for your degree. Consult with your Department Chair/Dean/Registrar to ensure that the credits will count toward your degree or graduation and have them sign off on your LOP.
Step 5: Send the forms to the proper Registrars:
